We do our best to keep our figurative finger on the pulse to bring you the best DJs and MCs, selecting both established names and those you'll be hearing a lot of in the future.

So, as well as treating you to some familiar favourites, we hope that this section will also open your eyes and ears to new sounds and talents.

Beats, bass, & bars...

This is the page to bookmark if you want to see us talking to talented music people. Normally, this will be from the bass-led end of the spectrum, but we're not genre-Nazis, and if we think someone's interesting, then we'll interview them, whatever scene they represent.

If we want to interview Jedward, then we bloody well will, thanks very much. Don't worry, we're not going anywhere near those pricks, that was just an example.

Sound opinions...

This is where you'll find reviews of music-related stuff. That might be singles, albums, events, YouTube videos, whatever really. The only criterion for inclusion is, if we feel inspired to write about it, either because it's monumentally awful, or monumentally awesome, then we will.

You can attempt to bribe us to write about your thing, but I warn you now, it'll have to be a pretty decent bribe to puncture our journalistic integrity. We're talking a tenner and a bag of Haribo at the very least.
